All of our Neale Joseph Limited Edition Prints are produced on the highest quality archival Ilfochrome Classic Paper – widely regarded as the best!
Its unparalleled longevity makes it the first choice of galleries and museums the world over for use on fine art prints. It delivers excellent dye stability, high colour saturation, deep blacks, and brilliant whites - providing unparalleled colour and tone reproduction with optimum gradation, from the deepest shadows to brightest highlights.
Production is a three step process:

1. Prepared files (digital) are sent to the Durst Lambda 76 digital laser enlarger, which exposes the images with high intensity red, green, and blue lasers, directly onto the Ilfochrome Classic paper. (This paper is specifically designed for optimum performance in the Durst Lambda 76 digital laser enlarger. It consists of an Ilfochrome Classic coating on a white opaque polyester base, which has been back-coated with a matt gelatin layer to ensure flatness.)
2. After exposure, the image undergoes traditional chemical processing.
3. Once out of the processor, each print is individually, meticulously inspected for spots and flaws, and rectified or reprinted as necessary, before being packaged in a special non-scratch wrapping material.
